Harry Potter: The end of an era.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2Wow. I am speechless. It’s really all over. The end of an era, the end of a life-changing novel, movie, and brilliant made-up fantasy world… I really don’t know what to say. I did have the pleasure of watching the midnight screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and as much as I was super excited, I was also really anxious. I didn’t know how to feel. I mean, it’s the END for god’s sake! No more waiting for another book or another movie — there really isn’t anything to look forward to. With that in mind, I had high expectations for the movie… and by god, it did not disappoint. It couldn’t have ended more perfectly. It was VERY close to the book (of course with some added humour and romance) and just plain amazing. And I couldn’t have asked for a better crowd to watch it with either! It was simply well-done. Some CGI scenes were a little cheesy for me but other than that, it was absolutely perfect. It jumped straight into the action (all the boring parts were in Part 1) and godammit, it made me cry so much! And trust me, I haven’t cried that much or that hard in a movie since The Notebook. It had that much of an impact. Especially Snape. Holy fuck, SNAPE. My favourite character in the book… OMG. And Lupin. And omg, Molly Weasley… and the EPILOGUE. HAHAHA. Everything played out so well. Truly impressed. And saddened. It’s a bittersweet ending.
Thank you J.K. Rowling for creating such an inspiring and addicting story for everyone of all ages to enjoy. Thank you for introducing me to the world of Harry Potter.  And thank you for introducing me to books. Harry Potter will live on through the books and films. The end has come but it will not be forgotten. </3
