Remember that phase you went through when you were like, 10 years old and y0u were just dying to be a grown up? I feel like I was just in round two of that stage in my life. When I was 10, I couldn’t wait to grow up, to wear make up, to kiss boys and the like. Now, or atleast for the past couple of weeks, I couldn’t help but think, “God, I can’t wait to start a real job and for people to take me seriously”. Ha, what a fool I’ve been. Being at the age I am in now, I’ve got the whole world ahead of me. This is probably the best age to be in, the best stage in life. Why? Well, there’s no obligations, no big bills to pay, no real stress at all, disposable income, less responsibility, have time to travel, no significant others to worry about… pretty much life is all about having a good time. It’s a riot. And if you’ve got a life as good as what I’ve got (which you don’t), you’d be sure enough to take it one day at a time.
Party err’day. Life’s always good when you have a drink in hand. I love life.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas… right? So here’s a quick visual recap of my May Long Weekend in Las Vegas.
So we arrived at our palace on Friday… Caesar’s Palace, to be exact, and upgraded to a beautiful room on the 36th floor of the Augustus Tower which provided us with an outstanding view of the famous Bellagio Fountains.
First thing we did when we got there was took a dip in one of the six pools that Caesar’s offers.
Then we got all dolled up and got ready for our first night out in Vegas. First stop? Lavo…
…which turned out to be a huge orgy so we went to Pure and started a dance party on the rooftop!
And of course, we met some hotties from New Jersey. WHAT UP.
Next morning? Tao Beach… where we ran into our Vancouver boys!
Nighttime, we hit up Chateau to see Nicki Minaj. Who didn’t show up (but apparently did at 3:30am – we were gone by then)…. biotch!
Since were disappointed, we hit up Tao instead where Taboo from Black Eyed Peas was performing!
After, we had dinner at 4am with our Jersey boys and randomly ran into Joe Jonas at Grand Lux Cafe.
Next morning we headed to Marquee Day Club at the new Cosmopolitan Hotel!
Had a mandatory dinner at Cheesecake Factory and met up with B’s friends that actually live in Vegas. Yes, they LIVE there.
Then we hit up Vanity at the Hard Rock Hotel…
…where CeeLo Green performed and fed me Patron!
And then to finish our last night off, we headed to Drais for afterhours!
Next morning, headed to an empty Rehab… for some rehab.
Hung out with our Jersey boys one last time…
…and said “PEACE OUT Las Vegas!”
The end! Of course, there’s a lot that is left unsaid… What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas… unless you’re me of course and you meet someone that lives here.. ha!
I’m in dire need of a makeover. Seriously thinking of going back to long hair. And a little darker. And might as well since I’ll be getting my nails did at Pure Nail Bar, facial at Skoah, and getting my wax on at Escents Aromatherapy all next week in preparation for Vegas. Might as well do a complete 180 and go all out. So what do you guys think? Long or short?
Dang. I should’ve used QuikPiq for this. Oops. Help me choose!
Can it be next Friday already aka when I’ll be in Vegas!??!
One pieces are making a comeback. It was really starting to emerge last year but I can’t keep my eyes off of all the hot styles that are being produced today. But are they really practical? I mean, I was thisclose to buying the Khloe Kardashian for Beach Bunny onesie as displayed above (the one on the left if you’re unfamiliar with who Khloe Kardashian is) but then I Googled that exact picture and decided against it. Maybe it’s because I’m in Vegas-mode right now but that’s the only place I can really consider myself wearing a onesie like that. I was then about to buy a super hot buckled, snake skin bikini but alas, it sold out. Guess I’ll just have to go in the nude this year. Wreck Beach round 2, anyone?
